Deposit/Payment Information

We require a $500 deposit to be placed on our waiting list for all Bernedoodle puppies. This deposit is non-refundable, however, it is transferable. If you decide that our available litter did not produce the gender or color that you are looking for in a puppy, then we will gladly transfer your deposit to our next litter. There is no limit on how many times you can transfer your deposit. While we certainly recommend personality over appearance or gender, we want you to be completely satisfied with the puppy that you're receiving. *Please note, when placing your name on our waiting list and submitting your deposit, we do not guarantee a time frame for your puppy. Please talk with us directly before submitting your deposit so that we can give you an idea of when we think your puppy might be available. 

For deposits, we accept cash, personal checks, cashier's check, money orders, Venmo and Paypal. If paying via Paypal, please add a 3% transaction fee to the amount, as this is what the merchant charges us to use their services.

*For final payments, we accept cash, personal checks, cashier's check and money orders. All final payments will be due 7 days prior to the set pick-up/shipping date of your puppy UNLESS you are paying with cash. This is to insure that all payment methods have cleared prior to the release date. Please contact us with your preferred payment method, and we'll provide the information needed to complete your transaction.

We require that the puppy stay with his or her mother and siblings until the age of 8 weeks old. Once the adoption date is set, the buyer agrees to pick-up or have the puppy shipped on that date or within 72-hrs of it. We allow this extra time because we know life is busy and we don't live in a perfect world where everyone's schedules are open. We will gladly keep your puppy for longer if you're not able to make arrangements within that time frame. A $15 daily fee will be charged for each day after the 72-hrs of the release date. This fee is considered a boarding fee and is extremely competitive to the boarding facilities around us. We will waive this fee if we have made prior arrangements with you and both the buyer and breeder have agreed upon a different pickup/delivery date!

Puppy Selection Process

Once the puppies are around 5-6 weeks old, we will begin the process. This is when the puppies will receive their first round of vaccines and they can safely be around visitors. Please make sure we have your current email address, phone number, and make sure you follow our Facebook page. We go in order based off the applicants that are at the top of our waiting list and that have submitted their deposit. *Please be advised, HooDoodles reserves the right to hold back any puppy from the litter for our breeding program. 

All visitors must wash their hands and put on provided shoe coverings before entering the puppy area. If you live local, we encourage you to visit our farm and get to know the puppy's personalities before making your decision. If you're not local, we are happy to help you pick out a puppy based on personality, gender, coat type and the traits you're looking for in a puppy. This is done through FaceTime/Skype, photos and videos. Once we contact you, you have 48-hrs to respond and pick your puppy, or you can certainly choose to pass to the next litter. If we don't hear back from you in that time frame, unfortunately, we will need to move to the next applicant on our list. This doesn't mean that you will lose your deposit, it just means that you will be pushed back on our list until we hear back from you. We will certainly make every attempt to get in contact with you right away and give you time to decide, but please understand that others are patiently waiting, too. If we don't set a time limit on the decision process, then we take the risk of having many unsatisfied customers. We also want our customers to be able to get to know their puppy before taking him or her home. This is done through photos, videos, and updates once the puppies are selected. We truly appreciate your understanding with our puppy selection process.
